Reading and Writing TRICKS and Strategies

As the year progresses, we learn all of the following tricks to help students become better readers and writers. As a group, we say the letters, the sounds they make, and make a gesture to associate with it.  Feel free to practice them at home too on an iPad and see what your child is learning:

Starting Monday, your child will be our line leader and special helper.  There is a poster to be decorated with words, pictures and/or photographs.  In addition, please send in a favorite toy.

Have fun reading the Bee Book and journaling about what you did together.  Pack everything back up and send the bag, poster, and toy in on Monday.  Thank you!
